It'll be much more effective at raising your volume/decibel level in your FX loop (might want it last so that it just raises the level of all other FXs too), unless your amp is so loud it's out of headroom.
Also remember if you use/experiment with the solo boost on the Splawn footswitch, to set the Solo knob higher than the normal volume knob. Otherwise, just experiment until you find what works best for you.
I use a Spark Mini Boost for solos and have it last in my effects loop signal chain. With this setup, everything just goes up louder. As mentioned, if you put it before, you'll hit those other pedals with some gain.
