Hi all,

I have a 110 volts converted into a 230 volts because I live in Denmark - a JJ-100.

The clean channel is very nice but I think it is dark and for usage I click the bright switch to the right and turn the treble and mids pretty high up - almost all the way up.

How's yours?

I'm at 2-2:30 on mid and treble and slightly less on bass, bright switch full right. I don't spend a ton of time on the clean side but this is where I settled and haven't felt the need to change anything for quite a while. I mainly play my two Superhawks, one with stock pickups and the second with Motor City Afwayus, both of these are darker than something like a maple boarded single coil Strat would be (although on the stock pickup guitar using the coil splitter I can nail McCready's Mad Season clean sound). Maybe your darkness has more do to with your guitar than the amp?
