Climate change denial conspiracies explained

I see a distinct difference between programs meant to help people vs control over production.
Also people as a collective deciding (voting) what to do with production or resources sound more like a democracy than socialism. In socialism it's a select few who decide what's "best" for the people, not the people deciding for themselves.

Social programs can be voted on by the people; or their elected representatives.
Socialists programs are decided on by the few who were appointed and not elected by the people who represent them.

I do understand what you are getting at, but at this point we can agree to disagree.

I do want to point out this is why people here just make fun of you "lefties." I actually tried to have a reasonable conversation with you about this, but you just had to go and start throwing insults at me. See the bolded part of your quote. The worst I said to you was AI knew the difference between social programs & socialism; which I would hardly call an insult. Even thought I disagree with you I've been civil with you so far. You decided to start in a different direction towards me. Why would anyone bother trying to have a rational discussion with someone who's going to to be uncivil?
Wigh all respect, you might want to research the term "democratic socialism", which describes the happiest countries on Earth.
The US has been propagandizing against Socialism (ooh, scary,) for over 100 years now. It's basically in your water over there.

Key Aspects of Democratic Socialism:
Social Ownership:
Democratic socialists advocate for social or collective ownership of key industries and resources, such as energy, transportation, and healthcare, rather than private ownership. This can take various forms, including worker cooperatives, public utilities, and other forms of social ownership.
Economic Democracy:
A core tenet is the idea of economic democracy, where workers and communities have a greater say in the decisions that affect their workplaces and economic lives. This can involve worker participation in management, profit-sharing, and community control over resources.
Democracy:
Democratic socialists believe that a socialist society should be achieved through democratic means, respecting individual freedoms and political pluralism. This means upholding free and fair elections, freedom of speech and assembly, and the rule of law.
Social Justice:
Democratic socialists prioritize social justice and equality, aiming to reduce income inequality and create a more equitable distribution of resources and opportunities.
Rejection of Capitalism's Inherent Problems:
Democratic socialists believe that capitalism is inherently flawed and incompatible with achieving true social justice and equality. They argue that capitalism creates economic inequality, exploitation, and alienation, which can only be overcome through a socialist transformation of the economy.

Note for the pedants: this is from a Google search which may use AI, which is apparently important 🤣

Yes, I know what democratic socialism is. Again the separation is between social programs meant for the benefit of people and controlling production. Controlling production is not inherently meant to benefit the people.

The pedants already knew that, because everything you post is either AI or copy and pasted from somewhere else. You're like a little cocaine fueled propaganda machine.

Where I live and the surrounding areas, the highway departments are slowly shutting down.
That’s as well as the local small town police departments.

Its becoming the problem of the county and then the state.
Sorry to hear that, sounds like a bummer.

If you hate USA so much, why do you suddenly want us to be "happy"?

You're fucking kidding me right?
Quote me where I said I hate the USA.
Actually, I love the USA. Been there dozens of times. That's why I speak out about the direction they are going towards fascism.

Well we don't need you as an ambassador. Become a citizen and then you can vote in our elections.
Otherwise it's just a waste of time

If people in the US don't hear any outside opinions it just reinforces the echo chamber.
Respectfully, you've read this guys shitposting. Would you take any of his "outside opinions" to heart?
His opinions are basically the same as US liberal opinions, which we already have plenty of already.
He's not offering any interesting perspectives that only an "outsider" would bring.
