Badass. Great playing never hurts ;) One of my top 5 favorite amps.

Playing was great...tone wasn't my favorite. Great job though!

I owned a MKII myself and it left me a bit flat. Preferred the Hellcat I had to it.

Was the still in the vid the settings you used? Holy crap I bet that was LOUD. I have the Jet City branded version of the MK50H II (Earhart) and it sounds about like that, but my tone always sounds a lot darker than your clip - more XTC ish.

Either way man, that sounds killer!

Yeah, I still have that Hellcat Paige. Killer amp for sure. I have a MK II as well and comparing them, the MK is just more of everything - bigger, bolder, louder, better cleans ect. Same DNA, but maybe, the edge going to the Hellcat on soloing, maybe. IMO

Yeah...that Hellcat is killer

To me the MKII was trying to do too much and nothing stood out...while the Hellcat was more basic and had 2 awesome core tones.

Thanks to fuzzyguitars for hooking me up with this killer amp!

Thanks for sharing rockinchippy!!!

yeah that amp was a beast!

It needed to be turned up to get the power section going otherwise the amp sounded pretty anemic.

In that regards it is kinda of like my wizard MTL. Need to get some volume to get the goods.

It is THE LOUDEST 50 watter that I have owned.

the build quality is second to none

that particular head was hand built and signed by Marty Kidd himself!

Ps

I liked it better with EL34 my self over the 6l6.

just gave it more snarl IMO
