I really like the rhodes the best, I like the crunchiness, but there is something about the high end I like more than the herbert and VH4 and the rhodes just sounds fuller. Awesome

Cool clips!

In this case I thought the Rhodes was by far the best sounding amp. Wow, it really sounds great!

However, in James' amp shootout, I thought the VH4 was superior to the Rhodes. Different settings I suppose. Both the VH4 and Rhodes sounded great on Sad But True. The Herbert was cool too, but I liked the other two more.

Kyle made some tweaks to the amp since the shootout at James'

Stop recording clips!!!!!!!
It's making monday seem so far away! (when mine gets here)
Thank you UPS for trying to give Andy Wood my amp and delaying delivery a week... It's all good though since I can say Andy Wood played my amp now!

That Rhodes sounds a lot like a MK IIC+ ?!

You know, now that you say that, the top end does sound similar to a IIC+. It has just the right amount of hair/sizzle. However, the Rhodes is much fuller sounding IMO. Almost like a double tracked IIC+. *sells kidney on black market*

How much is a Rhodes???

I believe Kyle is currently offering Artist direct pricing @ $3250. Unbelievable versatility and tone IMO, and still significantly cheaper than Diezel. Comes with footswitch as well! I have never been a big crunch channel kinda guy, but the crunch on the Colossus is out of this world.

Gotta say VH4 then the Colossus and then the herbert

Agreed.

Not a big Diezel fan but on those clips I agree. Just a bit more push or girth in the VH4 compared to the Colossus. But still retaining the appropriate Djent factor that the Herbert doesn't have.

VH-4 first but the Rhodes sounds AWESOME!!!! A very close second for sure, and I hate the Herbert.... most overpriced generic amp on the market :(

+2... all sound great but for me the VH4 takes it. Great job on the amp Kyle!

very cool, that Rhodes sounds impressive. VH4, Rhodes, Herbert would be my order of preference from the clips, but they all sounded great.

so honestly, is it "that" good that it could replace one of the amps in your arsenal?

Easily, and most likely will.
