Clip... Some more dicking around with my new interface

Needs a bass track...
Still not sure to put in between the chugga chug part and the solo shit... but meh.. whatever. This will end up like all my other "projects" i.e. I'll never finish it... I have clip ADD.

If I jam over it, maybe I'll be able to come up with something... Life always seems to get in the way of this kind of stuff and I end up giving up and moving on.

Aye, you're so right. I've actually petitioned for a few extra hours to be added to every day but apparently I'm not in the best terms with the powers that decide those things :D .

On a more serious note, I've found that whenever I was able to demo / jam a song down to the recording phase, I get stuck to the initial idea and flow of things in general. Time helps me to get things fresh again and may be come up with the ideas to finalize the song I was working on.

Yeah I usually do that for continuity... and like you said, it doesn't always work... I'd end up stuck in a rut instead of thinking outside the box. But my big problem is once I'm done recording, I never go back to what I recorded in the past to finish it. I dunno... I guess because I do this to unwind and I don't really place that much effort into it... LOL! :D
 
Phew, I wrote a longish reply just have it vanish...

But yeah, the stuff my broken puter's HD contains, dozens of unfinished songs and ideas I never got back to finalize. It sure is a good way to unwind as well, and get the music out my system, may be for further use even!

Yep... I don't take this stuff too seriously... Then it would turn into work, and work isn't fun... so yeah... :D :lol: :LOL:
