Clippage...Diezel VH4 & Soldano Hot Rod 50

Hey guys,

Thought I'd share a little clip of a track off my band's new EP due out this year. Guitars were tracked with a VH4 (channel 3) and a Soldano Hot Rod 50 (boosted with a Keeley modded SD-1). Used my '04 Gibson Les Paul Classic (stock pickups) and a Fender American Standard Tele (also stock). The VH4 was running through my Bogner 4x12 w/V30's and the Hot Rod was going through an Avatar 4x12 with Greenies. Some dobro and ganjo action in the intro. I hope you all dig it! Thanks man! Yeah, we've heard that comparison a time or two.
 
Clip sound great man...BUT, I wish I had a chance to mix it, guitars could be just a hair more forward in the mix (just my opinion). That being said, commercial viability: Vocals and drums loud...and a strong hook, it's all there brother.

Wow dude I love it love that twangy clean guitar at the beginning and the high gain stuff sounds awesome very well done and well put together!

Thanks much! Yup, my first dabbling into slide work...nothing special, but it fit the song pretty well I like to think!
 
I owned an HR100+ and that thing was killer!!

Thanks a lot! I owned a Hot Rod 50 a while back and couldn't get along with it...the one I recorded with sounded great though! Very nice midrange bark.
 
Great banjo vibe in the intro! Killer vibe and groove! I dig completely!
