I recently watched an interview on YT where Dave stated the Runt was one of his favorite amps in the line. I have a Runt 50, and love it, but there's things I KNOW people have complained about, (aside from the silly argument of PCB vs handwired). Well, maybe not complained, but wished the Runt had..
Now, the new PT-20 perked my ears immediately. As Pete Thorn put it in his demo, more aggressive, more of that VH flavor, and the added features. I don't care about cleans, personally, but I've been wishing for years that Dave would put out a single channel 50 watt fire-breather, and this new version of the PT seems to nail it. Now, how about an EL34 PT-50, or updated Runt 50!
