Columbus display: one of the segments does not work anymore

Reviving quite an old thread here but, did you ever get sorted Jan?

Just I've came across a Columbus cheap on the used market with one of the segment displays not working, doesn't bother me to source a replacement and fix it myself (basic soldering I imagine), but interested to know how you got sorted?

I didn't do anything. It works fine only the display is not correct. Sending it back to Peter for repear can wait.
