I apologize guys. I have been so over run with work.Also I have been behind with my shipping out of gear sold, traded and other. I spent most all of my free time yesterday dealing with a bunch of Wizard amps.
Had to get a Modern classic ready to travel and then had to get pics of some modern classics all sitting together on the back of my truck.
I promise to get the pics taken of my newest Friedman piece ASAP! Until then.............

I know what it is. It's a footswitching monster Marsha where all functions are switchable. BE,HBE,Custom 45,maybe sat. switch. Am I right? Hollywood likes his switching.

You're losing sleep at night, aren't you? You have Cali gas and Friedman gas. I feel for you. I sent my Wizard to FJA and he did a bunch of stuff to it. He has it again and is redoing the grounding and adding more filtering on the last two caps. He aded more to two of the four caps last time he had it, but I wanted to be sure I would like it before doing the other two. Should take care of the ghosting and the regrounding should take care of my hum. The added filtering I am guesiing will make it more like a Metal(tighter and punchier) Should be killer. The wait for the Cali is killing me, and the Friedman amps are the only amp on my "want list" I bet your Wizard sounds killer.

I just shipped one of my Modern classics back to canada today. UPS and then called and gave the guys at Wizard the tracking number.
I can tell you guys this. Rik at Wizard knows these amps better than anyone and all ya gotta do is ask about an issue and he will take care of it.
I just got my 2nd modern about 2 weeks ago. It is very different in soo many ways than my 1st. It is the quietest amp I have played in a long time.
I am not sure what Rik did but I know whatever it is, it would not get any sorta of mention on any forum. I absolutely love what I am getting out of Modern classic #2 and now know from my experiences with Wizard direct that they CAN handle any issues.
On a side note, Glip you are having Jerry handle your issues and I don't blame you one bit. Cause Jerry is another very smart amp guy.

That's cool you got it back so quick and that it's improved. I have no idea why mine had the issues it had but Jerry's work is very impressive and super clean. Initially when my amp had a blown OT Wizard took care of me at a very reasonable cost and timeframe. Glad they took care of you. Okay guys ...I apologize for how long it took me to get these pics. I got myself buried underneath my workload and have been working seven days a week. Today I took most of the day off finally. So here is the 1st pic..........

This amp has the switch on the rear for Fat brown eye, brown eye, and the custom 45.
It also has a control for power and a control for depth on the rear hence the 3 white knobs. On the front I have the low input jack for running any of these selected mods on the switch on the back and then I have the high input for running the hairy brown eye on top of which ever mod is selected on the control on the rear.
Atleast this is how I remember the instructions.
This amp is tops for having total useable range with all the mods installed. I can not get a bad tone out of it.
I know you get alot of amps modded and they do that 'ONE thing', or 'One sound/tone great' , then the rest of the amp is a bust or at best just a regular everyday item.
But with this amp Dave friedman modded... 'Every damn tone coming outta this thing kills'
I had a hard time believing what I was hearing my damn self.
I must have tried everything I could to try and screw up the tone coming from this amp.
She is soo sweet and now looks sweet.
Angel is the perfect name for her. because that is what she is.. My Angel.
