I was going to post this in Off Topic but nobody ever reads that :D

I was curious if anyone here knows anything about gas pressure regulators. I have one in my fireplace (gas logs) that I believe has gone bad, and I can't find anywhere online or local that has anything to replace it.

On the label it says:

Maxitrol RV20LSRF
1/2 PSIG
3.0"

Sorry to post this here but I've been looking for a month with no luck. Obviously I don't use the fireplace this time of year but I'm trying to sell the house and want it to work.

When I need to regulate my G.A.S. pressure, I usually buy a new pedal to hold me over for a while :D

Oh, people read it. But all you're gonna get is how the government WANTS you to have a bad gas pressure regulator, so really, it is impossible to buy a GOOD one. It's a conspiracy that ties in with the economy, the terrible health plan, Obama being a fuckup, lizard people and FEMA camps. It fits, trust me!

:D

See your local Plumming/Heating and Cooling guy.

to echo the sentiments of a poster on another thread, we really *do* need a sarcasm smilie...
