A) Military action is not war.
B) US presidents can commit troops without congressional approval with 48 hours notice and continue for 60 days with a 30 day withdrawal period. War Powers Resolution of 1973.

Yeah but didn't they pull this shit during Vietnam? I don't think we ever did officially declare war on them or am I wrong about that?

Whether it’s technically legal whatever they’re doing (Which I doubt), it still obviously violates the spirit of the law.

Spirit of what law ?
The constitutional law that requires congressional approval for foreign wars. Labeling everything a military action or voting to give the president blanket authority is lame.

The ability of the president to act immediately is a solid defensive strategy. Congress has to be notified within 2 days and congressional approval needs to be obtained within 60 days otherwise troops need to be withdrawn by 90 days.
If congressional approval was needed for every military action we'd be fucked.

Yeah I don't think anyone would be concerned about a defensive military action, but continually attacking various countries 6000+ miles away is not defense bro.

I think we should stay out of other people's business as much as possible, but as long as we have troops or allies we're treaty bound to defend we should have intelligence assets and military capability in those parts of the world. I'd like it very much if we could just let those people in those 3rd world shit holes do their own thing. Quit giving them money and quit trying to take over their governments. On the other hand I think we should absolutely remove the current regime in Iran, if for no other reason than punitive retaliation for years of their bullshit.

Touching on our other recent conversation, I think we should stay out of Israel's business too other than to not allow multiple nations and especially UN nations from ganging up on them or interfering.

I don't think we had a declaration of war since December 7th.

All the other wars were never declared

That channel is nothing but click bait bullshit.

I think the presidente can also send in the marine corps at will without approval also. We have not had a war declaration since 12/8/1941.....everything else has been sheisty.
