convert loop to pedal level

Have any of you guys used a reamp device or the like to convert your mod50 loop to pedal level? I have found an acceptable compromise for the parallel loop. But, I would like to incorporate serial based effects without adding digital line level effects. I know this is overkill. I was considering this: http://www.creationaudiolabs.com/mw1studiotool . For recording, it is a great di/splitter. For live, I was hoping to use it to convert the signal to pedal level and back up to line level into the return.

Any thoughts?

Wagster has what you need Ebtech LLS in the classified. Great guy to deal with. I met him in person not long ago.

Thanks man,

I have a LLS. It works pretty well. I use a MPX1 in the parallel loop for dealy and reverb. I am searching for a magic bullet (I think)... I don't want to lose any of my pure tone, want to be able to run great effects (to my ears) and have decent control over the midi parameters, if possible. Oh, and not overload them if I go past 1:00 on the channel masters.

But, I haven't found anything to run through the serial loop that I am totally satisfied with. So, I was curious if anyone has tried something like the MW1 to convert the levels and impedance to pedals, then go back because I was thinking of incorporating a VL pedal switcher and modulation effects that require a serial loop to cover more ground for the 1 guitar band that I play with sometimes.

I am considering a wet dry setup at this point. But like all of us, I'll keep experimenting. What I do know is that I keep going back to a minimal approach because my Mod50 sounds better than the effects.

Thanks for insight.

I don't have an Egnater, but other amps with similar issues and I am not 100% satisfied with the LLS, as it sucks tone (takes away oomph from the signal and also doesn't get the same level as using just a patch cable.

There is an active device from Lehle, which actually turns your loop into a Rivera style one, with separate levels for Send and Return, thus enabling you to get unity levels with whatever pedal you're using, it has a mix that can be turned to 100% wet. The unit is available with or without bypass switch, too.

I know the Lehle stuff is top notch quality, and I'd really like to try one one day.
