I've had a custom ordered EL34 20th Anniversary Shiva for years.

I have decided to get it to true spec and go KT88. Hopefully it will more easily gold its own with the Ecstacy I played.

It will go from 50 watts to 90 watts.

Either this, or I was going to trade it for a PRS Archon 100.

Correct, I was wrong. It's 80 watts.
So it will be 90 watts.

No not necessarily. If the output transformer is different than the KT88 model, and not designed with the correct impedance; changing to a higher output tube will not yield you more output. But 10 watts is not really going to make any big differences anyway.

I actually don't care what the wattage is, I just care that it sounds and feels good.
When I have the extra money, I'll have my tech convert it to the standard 20th Shiva KT88 configuration.

I had a 50 watt PWE that was one of thr loudest amps I've owned.
