ML Sound Labs has come up with a cab sim that allows you to virtually place a mic on a cabinet.
Very cool concept, doesn't require you to sift through hundreds of IRs looking for a sound
To do this, there are apparently hundreds of thousands of IRs under the hood.
Price is a bit steep at 99 euros, but I dig it.
This is a video I shot using the cab sim. Mix isn't great, probably cut a bit too much out of the 3.6khz region.

Yesterday I figured out how to get the guitar low end to have more thump and chug using my eight string. Having a lot of fun.
Definitely one of the best plugins I have bought this year.
