anyone played both? i own a mk50 II but i wanna kno if anyones owned both or played both.. hearing one on youtube is different than hearing it in person... if anyones tried both tell me what you think about em both.. what you like better what you dislike about one or the other... im realy curious about that natas... my mk50 II is unbelievably versatile... greatest amp in my opinion.... but im sooo curious about that natas..................

Only around twenty or so people in the entire world have played the Natas. The first production amp hasn't even been delivered, so no one owns one aside from Mr. Fortin himself at this point in time.

The Natas is a killer amp. You'll be hearing a lot about it from me come April.

no wonder i havent heard much from it!!!!!!
i hope to god its gonna be sold in music shops... read somewere its gonna be factory direct.... i hope not!!

It's definitely going to be factory direct. Mike builds everything one-at-a-time, by hand, and has no hired help.

I dig the Cornfords. I don't really think of them as a metal amp, but it's obviously all in the approach :D

No metal = no buy
Based on what I've heard, you could make a Fender Twin sound pretty metal

I see that as a challenge! *going over to dads place to borrow his twin reverb*
   Clips :D

I have not played a Natas and own an MK50, but it seems fairly reasoanble to assume you are talking two completely different animals. The Cornford will not do Metal like the Natas. No way, no how

If you look look at it with a metal view yes two different amps.......completely.

BUT.............the Natas is more than just metal and then you can start to compare the amps. Killer clean channel, crunch, crazy touch sensitive............just an insane amp.

Natas is suppost to be the beast metal amp but it is way more than that.

YES!! and that's why I made this thread.. I read that the natas is extremely versatile .. Just like the cornford!!!!! It's by far the most versatile amp iv ever used... And yes the natas of course can do metal better than the mk50 but the mk50 can do metal just as well trust me.... But then you got the beautiful fender cleans along with that unique cornford overdrive.... Absolutely stunning cleans tho.. That amp can do anything... And the review I read said the same thing about the natas

The MK50 is a great amp, I love the voicing when in the right hands

cornford mk50 you say? Any clips on the net?

Ya ola there's clips on the net of the mk50 I'll get a link and post it here later

I find the Mk50 rather a good amp for metal. It can have tons of bass, it's pretty tight and it has great mids and sparkle, too. Especially when boosted it can be pretty mean.
