+1 on UK version of SLO. I've owned MK for almost a year (had to sell to pay down payment on a new car. I don't own any amps now ) and played SLO on several occasions.
MK is pretty much the best sounding amp I've EVER heard, along with SLO. Granted I haven't heard everything out there, it was the amp that killed my GAS once and for all and I'm buying another when I can afford it.
Definitely not everyone's cup of tea though. It's distortion is pretty much a one trick pony (ok you can play any style but really, it has one sound and one sound only. You get variety with guitar volume/playing style not by toggling switches or tweaking knobs) but oh WHAT A BEAUTIFUL trick that is

+1 .... it's a players amp, use
your guitars volume and tone controls and the range of sounds is fantastic
