Mixing an EP this week for a band that used this amp for most of the guitar tracks - good lord it's a great guitar sound. Marshally, but throatier and thicker with excellent definition - like an XTC meets an 2203.

Anyone own or play one of these? I don't imagine there's many around, but it's certainly piqued my interest.

I’ve only ever played Kemper profiles but they were killer fwiw.

I had MK50II and it has huge sound for 50watter, JCM800 2004 sounded very boxy beside it. Very curious about 100W Cornford.
btw I was at Winery dogs last week and Kotzen played thru 100W plexi + fullstack. Only thing he used was RK Tech pedal. He sounded phenomenal, thick and throaty. I had to order one of these Tele's :)

This was my dream amp for years but never snagged one

Price was high even back then and now it's probably astronomical

Pretty rare but definitely a great amp. Darkish but not too dark; similar to a Naylor in that sense.
These amps were built by a longtime ex Marshall designer.

They sound great - especially for lead stuff.

A little dark, but not as dark as a bogner

And not dark the same smooth way as a Naylor

I think they're vastly superior to the modern victory stuff.

I’ve had both the mk50h and the mk50hII. No sure why I sold either one . They were awesome and built like tanks.
