Jeff Kollman was using an old bogner-modified marshall. I thought it was an XTC prototype but was told it was not, lol! :D Still, with 3 channels and crunch/lead sharing controls it does seem like Reinhold used a bunch of these ideas in the 100b. Sounded like a more raw XTC to me, Kollman was using just the right amount of gain, IMO. I liked his CS HSS strat the best but he also played an old V and what I think was a japanese boutique single cut too. Great tone and killer player, the whole band is sick though, especially fellow canadian Shane Gaalaas, guy was playing his ass off.

A few years ago, I had an amp posted for sale on Craigslist....some guy emails me wanting to come check it out....we set up a time, and dude swings by...we chat for a few, and he breaks out a Fender Wildwood 10 strat with a Humbucker in the bridge...I'm thinking "nice guitar...never seen one with a Hum in the bridge"....dude plugs in, and my jaw absolutely dropped....he played some of the most incredible shit I've ever heard....this cat absolutely FLOORED me with his feel and chops...I was in shock

Dude turned out to be Jeff Kollman :D

I had never heard of him before, but he invited down to see a couple of shows....one of the coolest, most talented people I've ever had the pleasure meeting. Such a monsterous player.

As a side note...he didn't buy the amp I was selling, but ended up checking out (and really digging) a Peters Gryphon I had at the time, too....he ended up grabbing one himself a short time later. :D

Well a friend of mine is his merch guy and was filming the gig and Jeff had a photographer there sitting next to me behind the board so I didn't wanna get in the way. He was using the same amp that is in this thread though: http://www.hugeracksinc.com/forum/viewt ... 31&start=0
