Back in 2006, this guy DanielMBouchard/M1000 on the esp board wanted to trade his Edwards Alexi Laiho guitar to my brother. The deal was his edwards for my brother's Epiphone LP Custom and $600. I sent off the $600 via paypal and we shipped out the Epiphone within a couple days (right around dec 27th 2006).
It arrived in canada a few days later but apparently was held by customs for months. I kept in touch with Bouchard via email and the esp board (private messages, public posts). He typically started to barely reply to me only after I would post in public on the board.
After a few months, the epiphone was shipped back to my brother. This was around last summer. Since then, Bouchard said he sent out the edwards but didn't have tracking info. He said that someone at his local post office said they could "find out where it's at if he wanted" but so far, he has neglected to post anything.
He hasn't replied to any of my emails or gmail chats either. Now, I've given him the benefit of the doubt since I know some stuff he said was true (customs holding the guitar and sending it back for whatever reason), but he really was kosher about things then you would think he could at least reply to my emails, which I know are getting through cuz gmail has NEVER crapped out on me to the point where messages do not go through.
So please if you can, send an email to the 2 addresses above. It doesn't have to be hate mail or anything bad, but just so that he gets the point that this hasn't been forgotten and it needs to be resolved and that's only gonna happen in 1 of three ways:
1) He sends the Edwards Alexi LAiho guitar
2) He sends my brother's $600 back
3) KARMA
