Aldrich in the bridge, Big L brass block along with stainless/titanium upgrades

I'm flapping right now just looking at that bitch.

That color and the "Solar" are my favorite colors on those guitars. Very nice.

Very cool! Noticed you have a EVH D-Tuna on there - did you block the tremolo and have to shim the neck to get the Floyd to sit higher?

I think Phil Collen is now having the Floyds on his personal PC-1 guitars upgraded to titanium blocks and saddles - have you noticed a difference with your upgrades?

Rock On! :-)

I have the "tremol-no" installed so I can block it for when I wanna engage the D-tuna for dropped-D, otherwise I have it set up to float. I did NOT have to shim the neck or anything on it. The D-tuna damn near rests on the body but the way I have it set up it gives me just that little bit of room I need to get the bar to pull up about a quarter of a tone for some bar vibrato.

As for the upgrades I noticed a major difference. The brass block being the biggest. Granted I wasn't looking for sustain since I have a sustainer, but the tone was much improved. It's bigger, punchier, louder, and a touch "rounder" overall. With the titanium string blocks it brightened the tone up just a tad so that compensated for any rounding of the tone. I can't say enough about Adam's (Floydupgrades.com) stuff. My guitar sounds better and even holds its tuning better. I'm very happy with the upgrades.

I noticed Phil has all the titanium upgrades and while they look badass and are probably ever-lasting for sure, I think they would make my guitar too bright personally. The PC-1 is a pretty warm guitar but with the Aldrich being substituted for the Super 3 and the titanium string blocks installed, I think anymore titanium against the strings would be a little too much.

Thanks for looking ;)

Nice! I have a Mocha PC1 that is all kinds of awesome. These guitars play really well - the neck, while kinda chunky for a Jackson isn't very wide, so it sits nicely in the hand.

That's cool to hear. Jackson makes really cool guitars but I hate how wide their necks are. I like them more narrow and fat...like the LPs from the 70s.

Thanks guys. I love this guitar. Yeah the neck can be a little chunky at times but live when I have a little more aggression in me it fits my hand nicely
