If that's on a Jackson those can be common finish cracks, if I was buying the guitar and saw them I would not touch it.

It could be the wood cracking underneath but the Jackson is a scarf joint so it should be pretty tough headstock.

As long as you owned the guitar and know its history, as in you did not drop it etc... I would not worry about it, if you just bought it get a refund ASAP.

Looking at that pic again are the cracks just the tiny 1mm length ones by the nut you can see in the second pic or are they going along the side of the neck almost to the bottom?

Two better pics under sunlight...
I own this RR1 from 2007..never dropped or banged against anything.
On artificial light the cracks are nearly impossible to view..but directly under sunlight today OMG.
Is an hard tell..clear gloss finish cracked or cracks from the inside?

Looks like lacquer stress cracks, which is poor IMHO. Doesn't seem structural, but the thing that concerns me is they seem to stem from a pretty critical area - primarily the nut and string angle of the headstock. Sometimes humidity, or lack thereof, can result in a spidering of cracks in areas of high tension, but ultimately, a well made guitar shouldn't have these obvious for at least many years (ie: vintage guitars). It looks as though there's been a shock to the nut or that general area. Or are you using thick gauge strings with standard tunings? Any neck vibrato techniques you're not telling us about?

I'd get a tech to look at it just to get a better 1st hand opinion.

Exatcly the area is the problem..nut/headstock + floyd rose.. :D
Standar tuned on this guitar always 0.09/0.42 one step down 0.11/0.49, absolutly no crazy tremolo arm technique.
Tomorrow i'll go to a tech. :aww:
