Love watching the thumb and first finger of his picking hand during those speedy runs. Ultra small, circular movement between strings. Cool picking technique!

Yeah, really cool guy too, I got backstage on Dio's first tour with him and he was really excited about life :D
Jimmy Bain was walking around with a really expensive camera on his shoulders and was asking the hot potentials if they wanted to go make a movie, and several left with him :lol: :LOL:
 
I kind of forgot about him. Still has the cool chops
 
Guiffria and Ronnie James Dio solo band after Vivian Campbell left.

Is that Robert Mason on vox? Damn still sounds great. Guitar was good but I am not a huge Goldy fan, he's a good plan B for me. That's right I said it!
 
I remember having a guitar mag back in the 80s when he first joined Dio.
He was playing this Purple BC RICH strat I drooled over! :D
 
I loved his white Floyd Rosed Warlock in the Guiffria video.
 
Goldy is as nice as they come. My band opened for Dio disciples in Berkeley. I spent about an hour rapping with him about gear and playing. Nice dude-zero attitude bs.
