Craigslist "Boner of the Day" - Mesa Boogie Content !!!

I made a trip down to Miami today and scored big time...

A basicly brand new 2008-2009 Mesa Dual Rectifer and new Mesa 2x12 cab.

Except for some dust, the whole rig is shinny new and dead mint beyond repair and came with most of the bling as you can see.

I picked this from a family who bought it for thier son brand spanking new at GC who like used it 10x in his bedroom whislt on his quest to learn guitar. It never left the house.

I guess Guitar Center talked the kid into changing out all the stock tubes ASAP and the amp came with a full brand new set of JJ KT77's and new JJ rectifer tubes + a Brand new set of Ruby EL34's.

I scored it all for $1100 Bux... woot!

I was like driving down there in the rain today crapping a brick it might be gone by the time I got there...

Retail for this as there is no discounts on Mesa is like $2,500 + 7% sales tax in Miami...

The JMP just came in this past Wed.

I'm moving the JMP becuase it has just been a busy week for me gear wise...

Besides the JMP, I bought that SICK ASS chrome chassis recto from the Mesa Boogie employee and I scored this nice deal today unexpectedly + I really just LOVE my JVM's for all things Marshall...

Most think I am crazy but the JVM is the best Marshall head I have ever owned period...

I played the JMP only like 30 min and moved on since everything else came in.

I have not even really touched the JMP or even opend it up to see inside after that brief encounter a couple of days ago...

The JMP is a killer amp if your looking for a more classic vibe, but I decided I like the new rectos much better than the JMP, espcially the chrome chassis one.. IT IS SICK!

That is a RIDICULOUS deal sir! You could probably sell the head alone for that much, or pretty damn close to it.

The head is like brand new and still under factory warrenty... I could easily get 1,100 - 1,200 if I was patient and waited until the holidays get closer, but I want to keep it.

I love the over size bogner 2x12's... Avatar cabs makes a copy of that cab that I heard is pretty darn good esp. for the price. You can get pretty much any spekaer config in it too...

I keep comming back to Mesa Rectos... Never really left them completly though. With EMGs, the right cab and OD-9 I get very inspired.
