If he is seriously trying to sell this, He needs to get it appraised first.
Then realize he's out of his phuggin mind.

Interesting, a quick google search shows:
“ Launched in 1959, the ES-345 was aimed to sit in between the 335 and the slightly more luxuriously appointed 355 models in the Gibson catalogue.”

The CL Ad says 1945?

The description says 1945 but the title of the ad says 1959. Might be worth half of what he’s asking if it actually was a 1945.

Laugh it up knuckleheads... I bought it for his asking price and it really is a beautiful classic guitar!

If it's the real deal, (appears to be), it's most definitely worth a small fortune. I'd venture to say minimum 10k, maybe 15k. I'd like to see the case. The first run '59 would have the pink lined case. I think he's just mixed up, it would be '59.

If I were selling it, it sure as hell wouldn't be on craigslist. That's asking for trouble.

LMMFAO that is one of the funniest things I've seen.

So glad I opened this thread. The public service announcements LOL

Yep. Good ol' Altoona, Pa. My home town. Definitely full of crackheads!

Altoona PA....lol
Nice array of meth, crack, and opioid.

Now is the worst time to attempt to sell something.

Probably meth laced with meth laced with fentanyl. Like the pieces of shit here.

I have done several CL deals and am fine. No different than a cashier at a grocery store touching your food

...lol...holy shit.

you guys remember, couple years ago... a RT member found a Mesa on Ebay that was not advertised with the proper mod or whatever... so the RT member called him out..and then everyone would start emailing the shit out of the guy... LMAO! i think the seller eventually tapped out...

I get that eBay provides a platform for free advertising and it's pretty easy to get your private contact info into the ad, so you could bypass eBay for the sale. But what's with relatively common, new items being listed for well over the regular new street price? Obviously, anyone searching for X item on eBay is going to see plenty of cheaper ones. Why would they buy the most expensive one, when it's a new and commonly available item? I don't get that.
