Crate GT 3500 (I know it says Crate)

I was told that the GT 3500 is just a rebadged Ampeg VH140 (The SS Head for metal). Does anyone know anything about it? I had a vh140 and it killed, I want another one but can't find one. :doh:
 
Saw Dave Suzuki from Vital Remains using a GT 3500 a while back, hung with Tony's Mesa Dual Recto without any problems.
