Crazy for RT but has anyone here played a DR. Z Antidote?

I always keep an ear open for DR Z stuff as it tends to sound pretty good and ran across videos for the Antidote that were just killer. Has anyone demo'd one in person? What did you think? What kind of music/guitars were you going for through it?

I know DR Z might be crickets around here, so I'll double this up on the Gear Page (Oh the humanity!)

I have played one. It lies to be loud. Not sure if they mentioned that in the vid. I have played most of the Dr Z amps and own a Maz 38.

You get every watt of power, for sure. The 38 has great thump for the size.

I think people mentally go to brad paisley when thinking Z. Great amps. The Mazerati 38 and a Triple Wreck pedal will cover most jam sessions for me, easily.

It does like to be loud. You see people covering ZZ Top with them, with the gain on mid level and just loud.

I still like my Rhodes and Bogner, but Z is a solid alternative that can do modern country, blues, classic rock quite well.

And if you have reverb and a compressor, and mad skills, some Brad Paisley.

Every Dr Z I have tried has been great... Maybe not on first impression, but recording and using them live is where you really start to appreciate them.

I own an early Carmen Ghia, and it's going to the grave with me.

I got a 6545. Great amp and it takes pedals like no other.

The most important knob on any Dr Z is the volume. They all seem to like to be pushed, and a little goes a long way. One of the loudest amps I've played was a Rt 66. Sounded killer, but loud.
