With an ESP ltd EC400VF. Sam Ash blowing them out at 539.00 its a 800-900 dollar guitar.i paid 450.00 cause it had a nice dent and chip in the finish on backside, but who cares for that price. i am really surprised how good it sounds through my Stiletto Deuce ll,Blue channel, Crunch mode ,and when i kick in the BB Preamp look out.Decent finish i have Fader Cherry Burst ,chrome hardware, ,JB in bridge,59 in neck.Get em while they last.

SORRY ABOUT THE iPHONE PIC QUALITY

Congrats! I loved the one I played and even at $899 it's a cool guitar. At $500 it's a ridiculous deal...

The real question is how does it feel. ive been looking at a cheap LP type guitar for my coverband and I was actually looking at the Standard series. I really need to play one

im a Charvel guy and this thing feels great to me,i guess you just have to try it for yourself. its mohogany and weighs a ton,and just as thick as a Les Paul or at least damn close,Esp makes thin Paul stlye guitars but i was not even interseted in them.i really do love this guitar.had to drive an hour to get it ,the 2 Sam Ashes that were closest to me were sold out and i got the last one at King of Prussia,Pa. store.good luck

Hey, I'm about 45 mins to an hour south east of KOP. I'll have to check one out.

as far as i know they are gone or at least in the cherry finish,Franklin Mills is also sold out ,as well as my local store Cherry hill,nj. but you can always give em a call,im just tellin ya what i was told. hope you find one

Did they have this $399 model?

Just curious...I'm wonder if it's flat topped or arched, because the photo looks flat...

Sup Mike!!

I didn't see the $399 but I played the one that they are blowing out and the ec1000 model they had in purple lol :D
I really dug the ec1000 I played. What was odd is that before I saw this thread I was looking at the Eclipse standard which goes for $1499 and the $900 Ec1000 was so good that I don't think I'll persue the standrd series. The thing I noticed about all the ESP LP type guitars is that they feel and play very good compared to the lower end Epiphone and Gibson studios. The $1300 Gibson Studio was a freaking Joke compared to any of the ESP models. The Studio felt like a cheap POS whereas any of the ESP's felt like a $2000 + guitar. I was very surprised to say the least!

What's that super-strat.....THAT looks quite cool....is it orange?

The ESP/Ltd Eclipse guitars are pretty kick ass, especially for the money. I've owned an EC1000, played an EC400, and now have an ESP Eclipse II (*cough* for sale *cough*). IMO they are completely superior to their equal priced Epi and Gibby counterparts. I did think my Studio sounded a little bit thicker, but not a lot. Congrats on the new axe!

Oh man, that is sweet  nice score Mike  Thats a badass charvel too
