Heard it's a Brahma replacement but has a voicing switch.....all of the Lynch modules have been awesome and I expect this to be no different, just wondering what the scoop is?

Guys,
They are keeping all info on this one extremely close to the vest. It is something George and Dave Friedman are working on. Supposedly and these are just rumors, George felt the Brahma changed too much from the prototype to the production model. There is talk that this is just going to make the Brahma what it should have been. Then others say that this is going to be an entirely new module based off of George's old amp but Friedman-ized.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. I have a bunch of them on order.

do you have any info on the one that will come after The Judge once Lynch feels that that one isn't right?
Lynch has already put thought in that one........and scrapped the idea and is thinking of the one after the next one thats not out yet.

The discussions I had with George were bizarre! He truly thinks that the "blue ones put in with the writing facing the tone controls effect the tone" A R/D nightmare IMO! Have fun Randall!

Yup he was also deep into chatting about the cosmetic changes with me...I mean he decided on what they did, so go figure? He does sell well for them compared to Kirk's stuff.

I think the Kirk stuff did take a toll .they put all their eggs in one basket so to speak .dollars and a year R/D and your right his stuff just does not sell that well..

the Lynch mods are actually pretty good sounding .when he does finally release them and they are useful for a lot of other applications beyond Dokken.

The man as crazy and sometime off the wall he appears has had some pretty impressive tones and seems to be able to voice thing people dig

I find it amusing that Randall is focusing so much time and money on guitarists that are past their prime.
The Scott Ian modules should be hot sellers. :jerkit:

Exactly and that is what I told them numerous times. Market the product and it's versatility, not the artist and the amp is secondary!

I think the 1086 has been discontinued. Doug who ran modular at Randall was good friends with him. Doug left and took over Egnater, after I left so Dan is probably going to do something with them now. Who knows???

But again marketing an artist first and the product becomes secondary.

This is what Randall has done since the onslaught began about 10 years or so ago. Marketing, marketing, marketing...they must have felt that the only way they could attain credibility was by having a ton of artists using their gear. It was obvious that they were giving that stuff away as fast as they could to anyone who would take it.

The biggest bummer to me about the whole thing is Scott Ian. His tone sucks horribly and has ever since he started using Randall. That guy's ears have to be broken. Atrocious.

Anyone getting their Judge modded when it comes out?
I have a Pre-order on the JUDGE and another Pre-order for the Mod.
Just so I can have the BEST OF THE BEST and the LATEST most Real tone it can produce.

Well my friend, if it's real tone you crave, then you definitely will need to get an Axe-Fx and download the "Friedman modded Judge" firmware update.
For fullest effect, play it through those fancy "wedge technology" speakers (the ones that looked like mall trash bins)
It'll bring tears to your eyes.

you're killing me, you're killing me :hys:
