Custom Order w/ Bogner - Slooooooooooow

A few years back I ordered an Uberschall (with smooth tolex instead of the swirl so that's "custom") and was pleasantly surprised when the amp was complete and shipped in about 2 weeks. Then sold it to a buddy of mine, and a few years later here I am - ordered another one back on 2/7/19 - still waiting. Anyone else seen these kinds of delays for production amps from Bogner? I assume they're waiting on parts from overseas maybe? Or Uberknot has actually bought up ALL Ubers

Seems too long.... unless they build them in batches and Uber’s aren’t on the current batch menu.

I cant speak for Bogner but 3 months is kinda the norm from the brands I've dealt with. Splawn is usually 8-12 weeks, KSR aims for under 3 months, and when I talked to Nik from Ceriatone he said 9-12 weeks. All of these guys arent as big as Bogner but they probably do not have the facilities that Bogner has so it's tough to call. Have you tried emailing them? If you paid upfront I think after 3 months its completely reasonable to email them and ask.

I ordered through Sweetwater, they’ve reached out to them as the ETA went from mid April originally, then to mid May, now they think maybe late June. Just assume they’re waiting on some critical components or even something simple is on a slow boat from China.

Ah, ok. Why didn't you order the 100 watt version? Maybe that's a dumb question... Probably just because you didn't want to

Heard the 50 has a little more bounce vs the the 100 being a little stiffer. I also had a MC 50 that was a beast. 50 Wizard watts is gigantic.
