Dean USA will build you anything you want. Floyd, no Floyd, 7 string. their finishes are better than any other custom shop out there IMO.

I've got a USA Dean V and a Czech Handmade Dean V and they're both amazing guitars. I'm not a huge fan of the headstock's, but I think they're kind of cool on V's. This^^^. My buddy's building a McNaught V "Blackout" with a plain maple top and I think it's coming in at around $2500. I've owned a Mcnaught Phoenix and my buddy owns three McNaught's and they're about as good as it gets. You can't go wrong.zewango":2orw5jp9 said:

I've owned a GMP V and it was a killer guitar in every way, except for the location of the input jack. It was on the inside of the V, and that just sucks for sitting and playing, and also for standing if you ever want the V part on your leg ala Schenker. This guy does all his own work. He makes guitars for Dave Meniketti and John Nyman of Y&T. He has also done some stuff for Joe Bonamassa and Gary Hoey. He did an awesome job on a Gibson LP repair for me and the price was great. Give him a look.
