D-Addario endorsed

Absolute awesomeness!

I am curious... I see a few people getting endorsements here and there. How do you go about getting them? I.e. What criteria do they have to accept you? And what exactly does the endorsement entitle you to?

I used to know a drummer who was endorsed by Zildjan. I don't know why or how he got it... But I know that he could simply call up and ask for new cymbals and they would send them. And he wasn't in a huge band or anything.

Anyway.. Any info would be great. Cheers.

Talk like a politician.

I knew a drummer that couldn't even keep time very well, but he was endorsed out his butt because he was a real charmer.
