http://www.slemmons.com/ they are down in Deep Ellum. I used them for give the one over on a VHT 50 CL I bought years ago that needed new reverb tank. My office used to be down that area so it was close to pickup ans drop off at lunch. I don't make it down there much but I need to take my 223 in for a cap job

Slemmons is very good. There's also Earhart in Arlington if that's closer to home for you. That's who I use, but he's usually backlogged about a month though due to no other techs in the area.

+1 on Terrance Slemmons. Great tech and awesome guy to deal with. I once had a Mesa 2:90 I bought on eBay from a seller in Puerto Rico arrive in really bad shape. the guy wrapped it in a single sheet of cellophane, placed it in an oversized light duty box...ugh. Had pots sheared off, broken switches, 1/4 thick steel face plate was bent to hell and warped. I replaced the tubes but it wasn't working. Took it to Slemmons and he not only repaired everything, he even fixed the cosmetics and front panel at no extra charge. Good guy.
