damage control solid metal demo and jsx comparison

Made a demo clip of the solid metal, then I did the JSX and solid metal doing the same riff, then I did the jsx on the right and the solid metal on the left...Together, they sound fucking ridiculous. Mic placement, cab, all that stuff is the same. I have the crunch channel and clean channel using the same settings on the jsx, and the solid metal eq'd appropriately. For the solid metal demo, I went through the gain levels...thats teh only thing that changed throughout. Towards the end, I switched the nuclear switch on and off a couple of times...you can pretty much hear when that happens. Starts with no gain on the pedal. SO here ya go. Let me know what you think, what you like better...whatever. I am hopefully planning on getting one of these pedals if they are still available, in the near future, just to have. I bet it would sound killer running direct into an impulse...

Damage Control discontinued their entire line up of effect pedals to work on new products...
 
I remember hearing about that. Ill have to find a used one then.
 
Mine too. Combining those yielded some pretty awesome results!!
