Dammit...been gassin' for a Washburn N4 for a while...

I wouldn't pay that much for one especially with what they go for used.

I'm the same re: Ebony Boards...this one looks great, maple top..mahogany back.....I'd probably change the pickups...but darn..ah well, dreaming anyway :D

EDIT: Funkymunkymusic guys are great to deal with too...had a few dealings on Randall MTS stuff :thumbsup:

The one I had was a great guitar, it played really well and sounded really good for a floating floyd super strat. It was a flame maple cap on a mahogany body.

I sold it to a douchebag my friend knows and he went and traded it in for a joe strummer tele. :lol: :LOL:

My friend bought it from guitar center later for 150-200 less than I sold it for. :hys:
 
The guy who does the setup work on those N4's is top notch. Fit, finish and construction rocks. Definitely worth the money. :yes:
 
Does anyone know why the mahogany/maple seems to be cheaper than the other n4 models? Doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. What am I missing?

Rubbed oil finish, not padauk (fuck the padauk models..really, really brittle wood), kinda 'stripped down' in a way. Same quality through and through, though.

Rubbed oil finish, not padauk (fuck the padauk models..really, really brittle wood), kinda 'stripped down' in a way. Same quality through and through, though.

I view the rubbed oil finish as a plus, not a minus..been on a 'real wood' kick since getting my el-cheapo Schecter Exotic :thumbsup:

Hahhaha..I emailed Jon at FunkyMunkyMusic to see what he could do on the price for me :doh: :lol: :LOL:

I've bought qutie a bit of Randall MTS stuff from those guys and steered people their way quite a few times....we'll see...I still can't afford it but you never know :scared:
