Dave,

I noticed that you use the G-Lab PB-1 8 Separated 9V Power Box for most of your pedal boards.

I've done A/B tests recorded using guitar DIs and reamping to test the difference between cheap power supplies and batteries, and batteries are the winner by a long shot in terms of providing a less harsh tone with more clarity.

Do you believe the G-Lab PB-1 8 Separated 9V Power Box is the best product out there to power pedals with?

Would you replace batteries with this unit in a recording situation?

Do you have any other unit recommendations?

Cheers,

Greg

Batteries are great just depends on the pedal. Some pedal you will not notice a difference others you will. In a recording environment you can use what you like . Live it really is convenient to have everything powered. I have not done a a/b on power suppies so I can't really comment.

Dave,

Thanks for the honest answer.

Hope all is well business wise.

Greg
