Dave - EVH rig question

Hey Dave,

Do you have any pics information on EVH's rig for the new tour/album? Was he using the stealth/customs a lot? Were the amps mainly the 5150 III propers or the micros? Cabs?

So if the gig at Cafe Wha? was any indication - its the pedalboard that Dave built him, 5150III proper head, 3 cabs (2 wet 1 dry) and the stealth looks like the main one right now.

Any pics you can share Dave?

Sounds like there are pitch effects on the new disk. Is he back to using a harmonizer of some sorts? The last rig looked like just modulation and delay.

You can do that in multitracking. Add 3 tracks in ProTools.. One panned right, one panned left, one dead center. The right is your delay, the left is your reverb. You can off set one of the tracks by 11 miliseconds. Wham... instant thick/big/massive rock tone!

He used a Whammy pedal for one song, and like someone else said he uses an OC3 pedal but Im not sure how or for what songs :confused:
 
during the VH reunion tour with Hagar, EVH had some whacky long jack that stuck way out the body of his guitar, what the hell was that??
or was it some hook to keep it from getting unplugged.............whacky either way

Im trying to forget that whole time period of VH. Drunken skinny shirtless Eddie. Nope...Ive erased those years from my memory :yes: ;)

He used that to keep his cable away from him and getting caught up in it. That was back when he wasn't using the wireless system. I believe he used it in '98 too.

Now that the VH pedalboard/rig is in the new Guitar World can you post the pics now?
