That's Adrian's rig you rookies! haha.. I actualyl had a custom axe built based on Adrian's. Ebony fretboard on mine too. He always had the better of the tones anyway.. better than Dave.

Also pretty sure the Live after Death tones were an MXR pushing a Marshall. You can hear it on Adrian's side anyway. Has that brittle exploding tone to it similar to Randy's Tribute tone.

Dave Murray's Rack
Murray uses his TC Electronic G-Force (which is sandwiched between two pairs of Marshall JMP-1s and JFX-1s) for about seven patch changes. The G-Force connects to the Marshall JMP-1 effects loop. The JMP-1 then feeds the return of three Marshall JCM2000 heads, which are only used as power amps. All rack devices are connected to a Pete Cornish power supply and routing unit, both of which are visible here above the yellow-taped Korg DTR-1 tuner.

Man, this thread is yet another example of how much of a pariah I am. I've always been more of a Murray fan than Smith, and I think Gers Rocks! The only thing that sucked about the albums without Dickinson & Smith were the vocals IMHO. The music Killed!

Yup, you are a pariah alright... Gers has killed that band for me. Adrian is the best song writer of the bunch (when he writes) and his leads have only gotten better with time. I saw maiden last summer and Gers just butchered the good Adrian leads he was allowed to play. So sloppy.

I am FAR from a Gers fan (saw them 1 dozen or so times back in the day with original lineup - yes Dianno AND the Bruce lineup).. but ya gotta give him props for stepping in when Adrian did his AS and friends gig, and you gotta give Maiden props for not booting him out like a drunken slut the morning after.
However - I am NOT a fan of the 3 guitar lineup - Maiden to me has always been Smith and Murray
