Got up this morning and while having my first cup of java got to listen to David Gilmour Live in Gdansk on the Palladia channel......HD and full surround sound. After having seen this concert video several times I never cease to be less than amazed by Gilmour's guitar playing and tone! David is easily in my top three favorite guitar players of all time and every time I watch this performance, the proof is right there. Amazing tone and feel! It never gets old. What a nice way to start the morning.

I love Gilmour. He is one of my all-time faves too.

Learning to Fly

One of my all time favorite leads. Gilmour and Knopfler know how to craft an epic song/lead...

The man is legend! One of my all-time favorites and never ceases to inspire!

Gilmour totally changed the way I approach and think about playing lead. Whenever I think I need to show off, I think of him.

Yup, "slowhand" fits him better than Clapton.

My personal fave {- Dark Side Of The Moon -} a timeless PF treasure. Many ah bong loads went down during those fine days kickin' it on Venice Beach. Still going strong since 1973.

That's one of the biggest attractions for me with his playing. There's so much tone and feel behind what he does and everything fits the songs and mood of the songs perfectly.
