Nice deal on that one Mike! I'd snag that if it wasn't so far from me. I need another guitar like a hole in the head. I'm hopeless.

No tone knob ...

U can get them like $700 new.

I'm thinking it's time for me to cull the herd! My trouble is, I see a great deal like this and have to buy it, now I've got a room full of gear.

I'm the same way brother. It's hard to pass a deal up. I had one of these USA models in blue and it was a great guitar. Loved it. The neck was like butta!

Your talking apples and oranges. Not the same model. The older 08-2010 USA productions guitars are actually holding pretty good resale value from what I see.

The white one's yes but not so much the red one's. I've seen them cheap on TGP.

Well si ce he said new, i assumed he was talking about the mexican or japanese. But yeah, the color seems to play a part in the pricing.

USA pro mods will always hold good value if clean. My blue one cost 649, and I feel I got a good deal. 600 is a great price for that. People will hold a higher value to the USA models whether its fair or not. Simply because they aren't made here anymore and won't be, unless you want to spend the coin on a custom shop. I've seen used MiM Charvels go for 350 on Craigslist. Doubt you'd ever see a USA pro mod that low unless its trashed.

Is it really a USA model? I don't see the "made in usa" under the Charvel logo. I could be wrong, but I think it's a Mexi. Or it could be so small and out of focus that it can't be seen.

Have to check when you went to grab it..it is hard to tell from the pic.

Yes, its from 8 years ago when they were doing the production run in various colors.
I brought a black one back then brand new.. never should've sold it. Very stupid of me to do so. I remember paying $999 brand new.

Nice necks on those. I have a video of me playing some Randy on it down below

That color was only offered on the USA run of san dimas charvels(candle apple red pearl) ;)
I own that same guitar but mine is retro modded( brass knob, round string tree, switch tip, strap buttons, brass mounting rings) and has a cream dimarzio super distortion and PAF like the old ones. and i have 80's schaller tuners on mine, I hate the look of those grovers!
That price is really friggin good! i would not let mine go for under $1100 with charvel case.
