Looking to sell gear I don't really use.. Considering putting my Mackie 1604 VLZ PRO mixer up for sale. It's really a shame because I bought it new for $700+ at the time and I've barely used it over the years. Anything with my PA I use a little Peavey PV8 mixer and it covers everything fine.

Recording wise, I upgraded to a 8ch USB Interface so I cant use it for recording purposes.

You guys think theres any reason to keep it? It seems to be worth only a couple hundred bucks.

I sold my 1604 VLZ a couple months ago. The new Onyx mixers have firewire to interface with your computer, but still mixdown in the analog domain for that good poppin sound. You can't bet that. But I don't have one.

I still have my big 24.8-bus tho. I think it's still relevant if you want a full analog recording mixer because I can track a full band with it using my old outboard recorders. I still prefer knobs and faders compared to menu's and mouses.

Here's my 8, and 16 track with the old VLZ. They are old, but they are rock solid with no latency.
