Thought you guys would be all over this, guess I'm very wrong

Distrust? Shady? Too many words? You guys believe Mexico is a drug lord wasteland? Didn't liked my music?

All of the above...

Octavio is a stand up guy! I believe English subtitles would make a big difference. Good luck.

I have also known Octavio for about 3 years and he's a good guy. He bought a Herbert from me years ago and was great to deal with!

You know, I normally have thick skin on the internet (since it is full of anonymous people like you), but since this is a very personal project in which I had to pour my heart all over it... I´d say it comes out as very offensive from this side of the fence

I´m sure you just wanted to be "funny" or "clever", but really man, don´t be such a douche because you really do not know or care enough to bring out constructive criticism. If you guys told me somthing like "hey, please translate all of the text for us and maybe we can support this project and feel a little bit safer". I could even put English subtitles just for you on the video posted.

Just wanted to share with you guys this opportunity for owning a very nice guitar. I know that 90-100 dollars with 20 people participating, with no shipping expenses whatsoever is a great low risk deal. That amount is what someone pays for shipping expenses only for a guitar inside the US. I know it is still a gamble, but trust me, it is a VERY low risk gamble.

This is my real name and my picture with my wife. I´ve bought things from here and supported local or small luthiers and amp builders. Just sharing this, no need to be this rude man

With all respect you come off kind of rude here. It seems like you almost expect or demand that people want to give you $100 to participate in your raffle.

I myself have no interest at all for many reasons. I do not like raffles because I never win. You call it a small risk, I call it a $100 loss on a guitar that does not particularly interest me.

I do not have enough money for charities, if I did I would donate to Susan G. and if it was for a band it would be for my own band or perhaps someone Ive seen on here or dealt with for a long time.

I am sure there are many other reasons why others would not want to either.

My constructive critisism would be stop trying to sell this so hard. Your post looks like a spam ad.

You come off like a salesman with the little slogans like "low risk" or only 20 people so your chances are great. People I know do not buy into that stuff.

Also keep your skin thick and do not call someone a douchebag because he said something funny that offended you. Makes you look bad.

Does not make you a bad person at all but those are my thoughts.

I understand you put your heart and soul into your music but so does everyone else on here.

I would not expect to raffle off my $500 Ibanez for $2,000 worth of tickets and get upset if someone makes fun of me for it.

(however if you Rig Talkers want to set that up I could make that happen)

$100 for a raffle is too much for me. Plus I found the post confusing and didn't know what was going on in the links. Maybe try $5 and sell 400 tickets instead.

Yeah or just do a simple "half and half" to support your project
Sell 2$ or 5$ tickets or whatever
Half the money goes to you, half the money goes to the winner

First page heavily edited for an easy reading and includes much more precise information about the project.

Thanks a lot for your observations!

Much better. at least now I know what's going on ;)

Douche bag? You asked a question and I replied. Don't set yourself up, and you won't have your little feelings hurt. I do not wish to give you 100 dollars. Why would I or anyone else participate in your raffle for a less than desirable item? The raffle itself has legal issues. Internet gambling is illegal in most states. Better yet, have a nice fucking day douchebag.

You're starting to peak my interest now because you said doucheypants.
