I totally forgot about this video I recorded when I brought home the Fane loaded D212. Apparently I didn't like it because I just found it in my uploads as unlisted. I decided to check it out and I'm digging the tone!

Sounds great Bob. I really want to try the newer Fanes. I used to have an old Hiwatt cab with the old ones and it was glorious. Great speakers.

I've played so little over the last couple years that mine still aren't broken in but I really dig how they sound, nonetheless. Can't imagine how they'll sound once I finally put a beating on them.

Sounds awesome... had me singing “I Want You” lol. Love the Fanes in my FB cabs. Haven’t tried them in a D cab yet.

I have a quad of Fanes in my Bogner Uberkab I run with my D60. Love them!

I have them in my Fat Bottom cabs, but also in a Wizard 412 that is similar to a rear-loaded Bogner cab. Is your Uberkab front or rear loaded. I do find them to be darker and smoother in my Wizard cab in comparison to the Fryette cabs.

Its rear loaded. So would you say the front loads are bit more aggressive ? Ive got a Fat bottom with P50E's that sounded pretty good. I preferred the Uberkab with F70's. I considered swapping the speakers out in the Fat bottom.

Yes. Definitely more aggressive. I hate those p50e speakers. The Fanes in the FB are awesome.

P50e sounds flatter, more neutral. Mr Fryette turns the mids and treble to 6 or 7 in his vids.
I use Celestions and turn them to 4 or 5.
