Lots of time spent in stores and driving and every time I hit a snag, a fat Mexican woman was the root of the problem…It was almost surreal; round a corner with my cart and there’s a cart sideways blocking the whole aisle, fat Mexican woman with two kids oblivious to everyone else.
Another aisle, two carts side by side while a conversation in Spanish is going vigorously. Yep, a fat Spanish woman but the other was a real looker and they talked and talked while blocking the aisle.
Heading for checkout and the smallest line but was beat there by a cart heaped to the brim and pushed by…a fat Mexican woman.
Leaving the parking lot and behind a car parked in the crosswalk, waited and waited and finally, a fat Mexican woman walked out with her bags and climbed in.

These were different women in each episode. I am in northern Indiana, not El Paso or Brownsville. I wanted to call ICE just in case.

Welcome to the new world order.

Seeing fat mexican women while out and about isn't really noteworthy in central TX. If anything I just want to ask them "flour or corn?" and if they say "flour" I want to tell them to get out of my country while if they say "corn" I welcome them with open arms.

Flour tortillas are for gringos.

Tried to ask but they only spoke Spanish.
They aren't from Mexico, then..

Mexicans speak "Spanglish".. it's a rough mix-up of Spanish & English.

There are so many regional dialects blended in, if you ever observe them trying to communicate with each other, it's an endless stream of "what ?", and "Que de say ?"

I can only say for sure that it wasn’t english.
But thought of the days when immigration and assimilation went hand in hand…you know, learn the damn language.
