Hi Everyone,
Been recording with my einstein combo for a couple of months now and its been great.
However on our latest session the mics started picking up this slightly grainy sound and at some points there is some serious crackling as well. pre-amp on the mics is at sensible levels and I'm hearing the same sound on both mics so dont think its them(D112 and SM57).
I've attached a sound file of it. its most noticable around 12, 33 and 50 seconds in but you can definitely hear something isnt right all the way through.
The other guy i'm recording with reckons it might be the speaker as at all 3 points where its most noticable, its on the same chord being played so maybe its struggling with a particular frequency? Anyone else come across this problem before/suggestions of what i could/should do?
Thanks,
Alex
