Im looking at buying or trading for an early run Diezel Einstein. Whats the market value for these amp these days? I see a few posted around 1900-2k? this one, on the gear page BTW, is #03. So could be one of the first. Not sure how that/if that effects price. Has any tweaks been done to the einstein over the years?

Thanks

I haven't heard of any tweaks to the Einstein.

1700-2000 is about where they're sitting these days.

You can mod it so that you can footswitch between the modes on channel 1. But the problem is the volumes between the clean and dirt are way off from eachother and I wound up just using it as a 2 channel amp. I found it limited considering the price, sold it off after a few weeks.

Well tone is always in the eyes of the beholder. If you like the Diezel tone and can get an Einstein at a good price then go for it since they're a lot cheaper than other models. And if you're good with your volume knob you can roll it down when you switch to the clean mode because that's the one that's louder than the other modes. I just think it would have been a good idea for the amps to be able to switch between the modes in stock form considering their price. But I don't think the mod for these is that hard to do, but you'll need a different footswitch for it if you did the mod. The amp does have a ton of gain and you can use it any volume level.
