Hi!
I took my Dean Cadikill, went to a musicstore and checked some amps. Here's the first one. More stuff will follow.

Cheers,
Simon

Hilarious to me how a quick demo like this is IMO the best clip of the Hagen out there... I'm an avid disliker of this amp... sounds great here though... seems to be much more suited for lower tunings... I absolutely hated the Hagen when I had it... couldn't get rid of it fast enough...

sounds pretty damn good to me...especially for an impromptu recording

Thank you ! :)
I like what i hear in the video, too. But i didn't like it while playing....strange...
Btw : this is through an Engl 412Pro loaded with Vintage 30s. Seymour Duncan SH13 in the Cadikill

ENGL cabs are solid, Hagen is love it hate it so I have heard.

Jap, i don't like them very much, but they are ok. I guess this applies to every amp :)

where is this music store? any store that stocks this many Diezel deserve props. Even GC Hollywood only has 2.
The gain sounds great btw.

I did a resistor swap in mine, took the fizz down and put in some more mids babay.

Doesn't hold a candle to ANY video you've ever done with your VH-4 or Friedman stuff :aww:

It's in germany, called "soundland" :)
Cheers!

Hagen's a special amp. A bit misunderstood, but very special.

Thanks for the clip!

I can hear my Hagen here, quite a representative video IMHO.
Jap. The Cam captures the sound surprisingly well. Cheers

EQ was quite flat. It's voiced like that :)

For the record, this amp cuts just golden in a band mix and context. An iPhone clip doesn't do it justice. I know there've not been a plethora of "great clips" of the Hagen, at least just the Hagen without gobs of fx or the like. It's a good amp - incredible amp - but it's not being effectively portrayed on the interwebz, nor should anyone pass judgement on this amp through a few online clips.

I gain nothing by saying what I'm saying. I'm simply saying that having had a lot of experience with a number of Diezels for a pretty solid amount of time, the Hagen is by no means a slouch. And the tone is pretty awesome - er, very awesome.

To each their own.
Uncle Mo

I don't have any experience, regarding a band context, with Diezels. But i have to say, again, that the digicam sound captures the actual sound in the room quite good - and i like it.
But you are right!
Each to their own AND try before buy! :)
