Hi guys,

Had the house to myself this afternoon was able to turn it up some. Thought it might be a good opportunity to test out the Herbert's channel 2 'minus' setting and get away a bit from the preamp gain and open it up. :)

The signal is straight from the Zoom Q2, pardon the playing had a few beers this afternoon.

Sounded pretty awesome. How would you compare it to a Mesa Mark V? From clips i've heard, it sounded similar, but with a little lower in gain.

Sounds good man.

I am getting ready to hop back on the Diezel train myself.
Really leaning on that Lil Fokker. :D

Thank you!

I sold my Mark V last month but it was a great amp! I would say the crunch/medium gain possibilities on the Mark V are expanded due to the extra modes and power amp options. If I could only have one amp the Mark V would be at the top of the list imo. :)

The Herbert is more "fixed" but the knobs have a very useable range.

Thanks Dan! I think you're Fokker bound myself, I'm intrigued from reading the posts about it recently in the Diezel section. :)

Yeah Peter was saying its a cross of VH4 channel 3 and the 2+ on the Herbert.
Owned both them amps and those were the channels I lived on.
But for the last couple years the FJA recto has been bringing some really really good tones.
It wont be replaced by the Diezel. That one will go no where. ;)

That sounded great man, one of the best clips I've heard of the - setting IMO. The plus side was so good, you almost forget there is a minus, lol. Nice job.
