Diezel Herbert MK2 with inner KT88 and outer KT77

Its not recommended due to heat i think?
Mixed tube will run unoptimally, plus KT88 may be too much dissipation and Peter usually don't recommend it.
However people sometimes do both just to try things out and usually go back to full KT77 as it's proven to be the best all around combination followed by good EL34 or 6L6.

Thanks Leo.. i have tried mullards el34s in the herbert mk2 it didnt work well... thou it fills up the mids but its not tight and as the folks here said on the loose end of el34 and fizzy top... i brought me back to KT77... but i want something tight lowend yet with a strong mids..... i hope the KT88 would not dissapoint...
