Diezel Herbert Transformer Hum

Hey guys, just bought a used Herbert serial #1078. The best High gain channel switching amp I have owned and there has been a lot. I noticed the
transformer ( I think it's the input transformer) by the speaker cab connections has a decent hum to it. Any of you other Herbert owners notice this. I have 4 other 100watt tubes amps and don't notice the hum this much. Also it's not coming trough the cab, it the actual transformer humming.

mine hums also, no big deal. heard talk of a hum pot on some Diezels, but don't know if the Herbert has one.


turn it up and rip, you won't hear no hum!

Love my VH4, but it has the loudest hum of all my amps. Peter said it was normal.
